Three people are killed and three injured in two shootings within four minutes in two Boston neighborhoods.

The shootings occur on Hosmer Street in Mattapan and Ernst Street in Roxbury. Boston police Superintendent-in-Chief William Gross subsequently comments, “Before, if you were walking with your little brother, sister, mother, they’d be like, ‘I’ll get you later.’ But now, no one cares if you’re with your grandma, your community. No one cares, they just fire into the crowd. That’s why we have multiples: There’s no more code, no more honor.”
